Hello, my name is Kimberly Brink and I am the Director at St. Vincent De Paul Day Care Center. I grew up in a quiet neighborhood right outside of Syracuse called Fremont. I lived in the same house my entire life until I ventured out as a young adult, and now I live in the small town of Chittenango. In my free time, I enjoy capturing photography, crafting, antiquing, and attending classic car shows. I attended Onondaga Community College and LeMoyne College for Early Childhood Education/Special Education & Sociology. I began working at St. Vincent’s when I was 18 years old in the before & after school program and have now been here for 23 years. I was mentored for 20 years by one of the most inspiring individuals, Helen O’Malley, as I advanced in my career at St. Vincent De Paul. I have a 20-year-old son and a 17-year-old daughter, both who have attended St. Vincent De Paul since the age of 6 weeks old. St. Vincent De Paul is not just a career to me, but it is a family. Some of the most rewarding experiences in my time at St. Vincent DePaul, were seeing students that I had as young children come back as young adults to enroll their own children here or apply for jobs. The feeling of encouragement when hearing the stories of fond memories that these individuals have had with us, is something that will always be a part of me. I cannot ask for anything more than that. I have dedicated my career to enhancing the social emotional development of children and strive to provide a quality program for youth.
